Call Defender

Call Defender is a spam and unwanted call filtering app. To enjoy its features, you'll need to set it as the default calling app, so you can then determine whether to ring the device when receiving a call from a spam number.

As soon as you open the app, it is advisable to click on the displayed "update" button. Doing so will update the spam phone database so the app can block as many unwanted phones as possible. In its registry, the app stores tens of thousands of phone numbers from all over the world that are considered spam.

If you want to check if a phone number is spam, Call Defender features a search option. Results will be displayed as you type the number. Like other phone apps, with Call Defender you can check the call history to see which numbers have called you or which ones you have blocked.

In Call Defender's settings you can also define a default behavior. For example, you can set a call to be blocked automatically when it is detected as spam.
